"Couldn't be more pleased! He worked around the tenant's schedule and repaired the unit in one trip...past HVAC contractors made multiple trips to first inspect, then get parts. Mike is knowledgeable, professional and wisely has a well-stocked work van at his disposal. I highly recommend Kovack Mechanical to anyone needing quality service at a great price."

"I have Been using Mike for years. Great level of service, and will not try to up-sell a product just to sell you something. He has always been honest & upfront and if it was economical to fix rather than replace, he will tell you. Shows up on time for appointments, and will let you know if he is running late. I recommend him to my clients and would recommend him to anyone."

Failure to maintain your filter can cause the evaporator coil to freeze up and cause water damage or compressor failure. Even worse is that you can also cause cracks in your furnace heat exchanger, which can potentially leak dangerous carbon monoxide into your home.
If you notice that the system isn’t performing as it should, we recommend that you check your breakers to see if it’s off unintentionally. You should also check your filter for excess dirt/debris that will cause problems with your system. At the time of the appointment, you can save some time by making sure that your system is turned off.
Every system performs differently, but, much like your car, you’ll know when things don’t quite feels the same. If your system is turning on too much and your electric bills are higher, or things are too humid; if you feel there is a problem, let us know and we can come out and do an inspection.
It is not advisable for you to have any refills performed without the corresponding repairs because it will leak out and cause damage to the environment. For this reason, EPA regulations require all leaks to be repaired.
